W. Scott Swenson
A nationally acclaimed auctioneer, Swenson was recently elected to the Board of Directors of the 7,000 member National Auctioneers Association. In addition, Mr. Swenson has been a top finalist in the International Auctioneer Championship in 1992, 1993, 2001, and 2002 and won the Texas State Champion Auctioneer in 1992.
Mr. Swenson is active in the auctioneering industry at both a state and national level. He holds the acclaimed CAI designation of the Certified Auctioneers Institute, as well as GPPA certification. The CAI designation, which requires three years to obtain and annual continuing education classes to maintain, is held by less than 5% of auctioneers in the country, and is recognized by industry professionals as the highest designation in the professional auction industry. Additionally, he is a member of the National Auctioneers Association, the National Auctioneers Foundation, and the Texas Auctioneers Association.
Mr. Swenson holds Auctioneer Licenses in Texas, Ohio, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, Massachusetts, Indiana, Kentucky and Virginia. Additionally Scott is a Texas Real Estate Broker, and is an approved auctioneer for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court. Swenson is a graduate of Texas A&M University and Britten Auction Academy, and the University of Indiana's Auction Marketing Institute.
