Mat Threadgill

Mat would be just fine if the title on his business card at dib creative could simply read "Idea Guy."

Nailing a novel strategy, reaching an untapped target, over-delivering in client service is one thing, but doing it with an idea that spikes business is quite another. Exactly what Mat brings to the table. He is responsible for taking traditional account management in an untraditional direction; one that keeps pace with ever-changing technology and ever-evolving agency business models.

Mat joined The Richards Group after graduating from Texas Tech in 2000. While there, he worked on The Home Depot, helping launch a new line of power tools, revamp the gift card program and develop the company's sports sponsorships. He also worked on Fruit of the Loom, helping grow the ladies' line of underwear. The Fruit Guys in the well-known commercials call him "the Mat with one T." He has headed up accounts such as Centex Destination Properties, Foundation for Exxcellence in Women's Health Care and SoCo Lofts.

In March of 2007, Mat cofounded dib creative with Clay Knight. If Clay is the creative and technology side, Mat brings the traditional marketing strategy and branding half to the party. Yin and Yang, right-brain/left-brain, whatever you want to call it; it is a potent combination producing creatively stunning and strategically effective marketing for every one of dib's clients.
